新iPod shuffle、オレンジの理由は「今年ホットな色だから」
昨夜発売されたカラフルiPod shuffle、早速アップルストア銀座に実物を見に行ったので、写真で紹介しよう。
店内に入ると、目の前に早速カラーshuffleのディスプレイ。とても発色がきれいだ。
隣に展示されていたiPod nanoと比べてみると、このとおり。まったく同じ色。ブルーだけでなく、ピンクとグリーンもnanoと同じ色だ。
そして、これが新色オレンジ。なぜオレンジ？と疑問をお持ちの方もいらっしゃるかと思うが、アップル広報の方によると「オレンジは今年最もホットな色のひとつだから」。このタイミングでカラバリを発表したことに関して、「日本ではこれからバレンタインデー、ホワイトデー、そして新入学、とギフトシーズンが続きますので、贈り物にぜひどうぞ」とグレッグ・ジョズウィアック氏（ワールドワイドiPodプロダクトマーケティング担当バイスプレジデント）のコメントもいただいた。
